Sanjay Chikarmane
Chief Product Officer
Sanjay Chikarmane is the Chief Product Officer for IQVIA. He is responsible for the development and deployment of our end-user software applications across our clinical and commercial businesses.
Sanjay has more than 30 years of experience leading development and product management teams, as well as general management of product-focused businesses for global enterprise software and technology companies. Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Product Officer and General Manager at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. While at Hitachi, he led the company’s transition to a software-focused company, leading its SaaS-based enterprise software portfolio which comprised Data Management, Analytics and Industrial IOT solutions. Prior to this he held several executive leadership roles with Illumina, SAP and BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle).
Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
